**Early alpha/beta oscillations reflect the formation of face-related expectations in the brain** ---------- EEG datasets from 33 participants were pre-processed in EEGLab (Delorme and Makeig, 2004). For a detailed description of the pre-processing steps, please see the corresponding paper. Datasets are stored in separate folders according to their subsequent analyses. ---------- **ERP Data** Averaged data for each image category per participant. Datasets are provided as txt files. ---------- **TF Data** Pre-processed datasets were converted to FieldTrip compatible files (Oostenveld, Fries, Maris and Schoffelen, 2011). These are stored as individual files for each image category per participant. ---------- **Abbreviations** - **P1**: Predictive images - **P2**: Expected images - **Rand**: Random images
