Description: The goal of this project is to understand the effects of meditation, differentiate the mechanisms of different meditative practices derived from diverse traditions, and expand the scope of research from mindfulness to basic meditative practices. We are also interested in exploring the interaction of personality traits with diverse meditation techniques. This project uses experimental single-case designs to answer the research questions above.
