Wiki Version:
These are the MATLAB data files used in the study. These can be read in R using the "R.matlab" package with its readMat function. **MIT** data are posted with the permission of Ed Vul. **Berkeley** data are posted with the permission of Ariella Popple and Dennis Levi. ## Files ## There is one file for each sample analysed in the study. In the folder *Berkeley Subset*, there is one file for each of the item rates tested in the Berkeley subset of six participants. ## Variables ## Each file contains seven variables. Each is a three-dimensional matrix. The first dimension separates data by participant. The second separates data by block. The third separates data by trial. Thus the entry (1,2,3) would correspond to the third trial in the second block for the first participant. - **allLags** gives the lag. - **allT1Error** gives the serial position error (SPE) for T1. - **allT1Pos** gives the serial position of T1 in the stream. - **allT1Resp** gives the serial position of the item reported as T1. - **allT2Error** gives the serial position error (SPE) for T2. - **allT2Pos** gives the serial position of T2 in the stream. - **allT2Resp** gives the serial position of the item reported as T2.
