Open data, code, and materials for “Open access in language testing and assessment” Please cite as: [to be updated after publication] - The "Open data" folder contains: - Metadata downloaded from the Web of Science, stored in the "raw_data" folder. - Pilot coding records, available in two files: "coder1.csv" and "coder2.csv". - Final coding records, comprising three files: "final_coder1.csv", "final_coder2.csv", and "final_coder3.csv". - Records that displayed inconsistencies between Coders 1, 2, and 3, which were subsequently recoded by Coder 4. These records can be found in the files: "Inconsistencies-coder124.csv" and "Inconsistencies-coder134.csv". - Rules for classifying the Global North and South, provided by the Wikimedia Foundation in 2023. These are contained in the "global_south.csv" file. - Manual coding records of author affiliation type and funding type. Accessible in two files: "manually_coded_auth_aff.csv" and "manually_coded_funding.csv". - "final_data_corrected.csv" is the correction of our original final_data (two coding errors were identified during the review/revision process and we corrected the record on the original final_data csv file, which is then updated as the file below). - Final data, "final_data.csv", this is the final dataset after the data coding and clearning process. - The "Open code" folder holds: - Data preprocesing script named "Data coding and processing.Rmd". - Data analysis output available as "Data-coding-and-processing.html". - Data analysis script named "Main Analysis.Rmd". - Data analysis output available as "Main-Analysis.html". - The "Open materials" folder includes: - The Codebook used during the coding process, stored as "Codebook.xlxs". - The "meta_rater" scripts created by Norouzian in 2021, which were used to calculate interrater reliability metrics. These scripts are stored within the "m-master" folder.
