Wiki Version:
The demand that research data should be made openly available has become a focal point in the Open Science movement. In this workshop, we will discuss why Open Data – both quantitative, and qualitative – plays a key role in enabling transparent research. We discuss challenges in making data openly accessible, stemming from the specific requirements of the various research areas in which different types of data are produced or analyzed. We identify possible solutions to work towards the goal of opening up and sharing data, reflecting on hands-on strategies to apply in one’s own research work. This OSF project contains: - Workshop slides - Template for documenting open research data - Survey on sharing research data, specifically: * Survey questions * Participant responses * Documentation on research data generation
