This project aims at testing hypotheses on to the distribution of graphic complexity inside characters (i.e., left/right halves). It was first registered on April 8th, 2020. The document that was uploaded on this day is **ComplexWriting-LeftRight-2020-08April.pdf**. It includes some background literature, methods and hypotheses / predictions for the study. On September 25th, 2020 were uploaded the data, metadata, code, and results of this study. The results are reported in section 5 of the **ComplexWriting-LeftRight-Sept2020.pdf**. **DataComplexWriting-LeftRight.csv** is the raw data, **metadata-DataComplexWriting-LeftRight.csv** its accompanying metadata. **LeftRight-Analyses-Sept2020.R** is the script for the analyses and figures presented in the report. **data.redux.csv** is the data as transformed by the LeftRight-Analyses-Sept2020.R script, so that it can be uploaded directly, rather than computed, if necessary.
