Description: Data collected in a modified artificial grammar learning task, in which participants learned that one grammar predicted rewards, while the other one did not. In a subsequent test phase, participants were able to choose novel strings from the rewarded grammar in order to collect additional rewards. We found sensitive evidence for this effect only when participants were unaware of the grammars, but judged consciously which string brought the reward and which did not.
