Description: The aim of this project is to investigate the psychosocial consequences of social media use among adolescents. It employs a measurement burst design that consists of (1) a series of 16 biweekly surveys, (2) two series of three-week experience sampling method (ESM) studies, conducted 6 months apart, (3) tracking of participants’ phone use, and (4) big data analyses of participants’ social media archives. This project is part of Project AWeSome. More information about the project can be found at project-awesome.nl/for-researchers.
