Description: This repository contains metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) recovered from a coassembly of metagenomes sampled from the anoxic depths of the Cariaco Basin. It also contains biosynthetic gene clusters annotated from those MAGs, and large files that are associated with scripts used for this analysis that can be accessed from the following GitHub repository: https://github.com/d-mcgrath/cariaco_basin. These data were used in analysis done for the publication "Diverse secondary metabolites are expressed in particle-associated and free-living microorganisms of the permanently anoxic Cariaco Basin."
