Description: We report the subaqueous bathymetric change that occurred to the entire delta front (~75.9 km^2) of the Wax Lake Delta (WLD) in coastal Louisiana between February 2015 and July 2016. We show that sediment removal (-9.85×10^6 m^3) exceeded sediment accumulation (7.64 ×10^6 m^3), making the delta front net-erosional (-2.21×10^6 m^3) despite the occurrence of delta’s second largest flood.
