This component stores the analysis script and datasets used in analyses for this study. All datasets are named as called in the analysis script. The analysis script is commented thoroughly throughout. A subcomponent (curvefit data) includes the raw participant data used for curvefits, and an explanation thereof. - osf_analyses.R: This is the full analysis script used for the analyses reported in the manuscript. It is scripted in the order of analyses and figures in the text, and includes code to both analyze data and plot figures. - accuracies.txt: This file includes the mean accuracy on VWP trials for the participants in each modality, by age. - agesAll.txt: This file includes continuous age information for the participants in the study. - assessments.txt: This file includes the standardized assessment scores for participants in the study. - CE_by_word.txt: This file contains the mean competitor effect (competitor - unrelated) for each word in each modality in the study. These scores are averaged across all participants. - cohorts_timecourse.txt: This file contains the mean competitor effect for cohort competitors at each time point, in each modality, and for each age group, averaged across participants. - compeff_vvwp_auc.txt: This file contains the mean competitor effect in the analysis window for the non-linguistic VWP task for each participant. - compeEffAUC.txt: This file includes the mean competitor effect in the analysis window for each competitor type and modality in the linguistic VWP tasks for each participant. - compEffect_overall.txt: This file includes the mean competitor effect at each time point for each competitor type and each modality, averaged across all participants. - duration_compeff.txt: This file contains the counts of timepoints when the competitor effect exceeded .03 (the extent measure) for each participant in each modality and competitor type. - max_comp_eff.txt: This file contains the peak of the competitor effect for each participant in each modality for each competitor type. - overall_timecourse.txt: This file contains the mean looks to targets, competitors and unrelateds at each time point for each competitor type and modality, averaged across all participants. - previewFixations.txt: This file contains the mean fixation duration of fixations made during the preview period of the non-linguistic VWP task for each participant. - rhymes_timecourse.txt: This file contains the mean competitor effect for rhyme competitors at each time point, in each modality, and for each age group, averaged across participants. - target_curves.txt: This file contains the mean proportion of looks to the target at each time point for each modality and age group, averaged across all competitor types and participants. - targs_fits_aud_overall.txt: This file contains the computed curvefit parameters for targets in the spoken modality for each participant. - targ_fits_orth_overall.txt: This file contains the computed curvefit parameters for targets in the written modality for each participant. - vvwp_competitors.txt: This file contains the mean competitor effect at each time point for each age group in the non-linguistic VWP task, averaged across participants. - vvwp_fits.txt: This file contains the computed curvefit parameters for each participant in the non-linguistic VWP task. - vvwp_targets.txt: This file contains the mean proportion of looks to the target at each time point for each age group, averaged across participants.
