Description: Previous research has found associations between future thinking, and suicidal thoughts and behaviours. Until now, 'the future' investigated by these studies has ranged from weeks to years ahead, but to our knowledge there has been no research investigating shorter term (daily) future orientation and its relationship to suicidal thoughts. The current project investigates this using experience sampling method (ESM) data from a pre-existing dataset.
