Description: This scoping review will explore the disparities in access to neurosurgical care in Canada, focusing on socioeconomic, geographic, racial, gender, and cultural barriers. Through a scoping review of qualitative literature, key factors which affect underserved populations will be identified and evidence-based solutions will be proposed. This study will emphasize the need for policy interventions, enhanced healthcare infrastructure, and culturally competent care to address these barriers.
