Description: Using non-invasive brain stimulation and neuroimaging, Riddle et al. demonstrate a causal role for theta and alpha neuronal oscillations in the prioritization and suppression of working memory representations. Neuroimaging data supports a model by which theta and alpha oscillations are excitatory and inhibitory to neural activity, respectively. Companion code and behavioral data for generating the bar plots of Figure 2A, Figure 2B, Figure S1C, and Figure S1D of Riddle et al., Current Biology 2020 with and without the addition of individual subject data point.
