Wiki Version:
**Committing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals: re-framing the way University research outputs and impact are viewed and valued** By aligning their research output to the globally recognised UN SDG framework, Universities can demonstrate their commitment to internationally relevant, societal challenges. Two forms of openly accessible University output were analysed in this project: peer-reviewed publications and REF Impact Case Studies, with the latter being a distinct output form created purposefully to provide evidence-rich narrative of research impact. The project is divided into the following sections: 1. Mapping of university research output to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by academic discipline 2. Mapping interdisciplinary outputs to the UN Sustainable Development Goals: implications for collaborations and research strategies 3. Mapping fluctuations in SDG relevant output over time: implications for understanding and anticipating the influence of external events on university research activity 4. Mapping of University of Glasgow REF 2014 Impact Case Studies to the UN Sustainable Development Goals 5. Mapping research impacting on policy to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
