**Committing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals: re-framing the way University research outputs and impact are viewed and valued** By aligning their research output to the globally recognised UN SDG framework, Universities can demonstrate their commitment to internationally relevant, societal challenges. Two forms of openly accessible University output were analysed in this project: peer-reviewed publications and REF Impact Case Studies, with the latter being a distinct output form created purposefully to provide evidence-rich narrative of research impact. The project is divided into the following sections: 1. Mapping of university research output to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by academic discipline 2.
