Wiki Version:
The 1st half of channels (1-57) are from the child, and the 2nd half are from the adult. Infants were 9-15 months. Most of the information about the materials required to conduct this study is included in the corresponding article. Additional details: The "Together" condition lasted 5 minutes. During the first third of this condition, the adult experimenter used a constrained set of toys (plush lion, frog puppet, ball ramp) to freely play with each infant. During the next third, she sang a set of nursery rhymes to each infant ("Itsy Bitsy Spider", "Old MacDonald", and "The Wheels on the Bus"). During the final third, she read the book, *Goodnight Moon*, aloud.
