## Overview ## This project contains study materials and data from paper called *Situated Participatory Design: A Method for In Situ Design of Robotic Interaction with Older Adults*. Below is a brief overview of the Files contents: STUDY MATERIALS --------------- The STUDY MATERIALS folder contains .pdf files of the materials used in each of the three phases of the study: - **Phase 1 protocol.pdf** - protocol used for phase 1 - **Task card template.pdf** - task cards used in phase 1 - **Scenario design card template.pdf** - scenario cards used in phase 1 - **Phase 2 reflective interview.pdf** - interview questions used to get feedback after each simulated deployment - ****Sample of robot mail.pdf**** a mail card that was delivered to participants who designed the mail delivery scenario - ****Phase 3 protocol.pdf**** - protocol used to interview caregivers in Phase 3 DATA ------- The DATA folder contains .pdf files of the designs created by residents during the study and a .xlsx file of the data analysis results: - **CODEBOOK.xlsx** - the codebook and affinity diagramming results from the data analysis - **R1.pdf**--**R9.pdf** - each resident's scenario design at each step of the study in a separate file - **Final Designs - All residents.pdf** - final designs of each resident apresented together Note that demographic information from participants has been excluded to protect their privacy. SUPPLEMENTARY VIDEO ------- The SUPPLEMENTARY VIDEO folder contains a single .mp4 video and .srt caption file. This video is the same supplementary video submitted via PCS. It walks through the three phases of the method using footage from our field study.
