Wiki Version:

Preregistration includes specific details about how our analyses were planned and initially executed. (Preregistration can be found here: https://osf.io/xj9vk/ )

Two new covariates (not included in preregistered analyses) were added to our regression analyses after collection of data and after we ran our preregistered analyses. Addition of these covariates did not meaningfully change our results or the interpretation of our results. They did, however, provide some explanation for additional variance in our dependent variables.

The new covariates (assigned sex at birth and gender identity) were added after data showed that they were not collinear. Both of these variables were included because neither was a more theoretically sound variable to include than the other.

Final results include assigned sex at birth and gender identity as covariates in addition to age, religiosity, and acculturation.
