Description: This study examines The Umbrella Academy as an example of morally diverse characters to whom viewers can form parasocial bonds. It combines 1) viewers’ moral foundations, 2) their moral expectancies toward the siblings, and 3) their perception of the siblings’ actual moral behavior and analyzes them regarding the strength of parasocial relationships.
