List of Evidence - The relevance of alpha phase in human cognition ==================== ---------- **First of all, thanks for collaborating with us on this project.** This is an open and shared document which lists contributions regarding the role of oscillatory phase in cognition, in which anyone can contribute by adding a study. The aim of this project is to track positive and null results on the influence of pre-stimulus oscillatory phase in any aspect of Cognition (e.g., perception, attention, memory, etc.). The table in the file was designed based on the [table][1] in VanRullen R., Perceptual Cycles. If there is more than one dataset in the contribution you want to list, please add the results separately (one row each dataset). 2. If your (null) results are unpublished but linked to a published data, please ref to the published article. 3. Some rows will be locked and you won't able to edit some parts of the file, please select the first blank row and add your data there. Regarding the different fields in the table: - **Reference**: Add the citation in, preferably in APA format. - **Modality**: Report the modalit/ies involved in the study (vision, auditory, tactile etc...) - **N. participants**: Report the number of participants involved in the analysis (not in the study). - **Frequency**: Report the frequency/ies where the phase effect was found (Hz). - **Timing**: Report where the effect was found (ms), with respect to stimulus onset. - **Topography**: Report where the effect was found. - **Spatial expectation**: Report if the stimulus was presented at only one location (e.g. only central target) or if spatial expectation was modulated (e.g. modulated by Cue) or if no spatial expectation was involved (e.g., NO means the stimulus was unpredictable in terms of spatial expectations). - **Temporal expectation**: The same as before, but in time (e.g. jitter vs. time fix) - **Method**: Statisic used, Phase Bifurcation Index, Phase Opposition Sum,... - **Notes**: Report here any comment you consider relevant. - **Significant Phase Behavior**: Tick if a significant result between phase and behavior has been found. #### **To add a new entry to the file please [use this link][2].** Using and citing this table --------------------- You can use this table at your best convenience, please cite as: Ruzzoli M., Torralba M., Morís Fernández L., Soto-Faraco S.
