TESTING LOCATION Participants were tested in person in the Social Cognition Laboratory at the University of Otago Psychology Department. Participants were tested individually in one of three identical light and sound attenuated testing rooms. Participants viewed the video and listed countries or described the robber on 21-inch iMac computers while wearing headphones. They were not able to see or hear each other when viewing or responding to stimuli.
