Description: We will conduct a cross-sectional survey of perceptions of control over different causes of death in the UK. Our study aims are threefold, 1) to compare perceptions about different causes of death, 2) to investigate relationships between determinants of reported health effort, and 3) to explore the perceived prevalence of different causes of avoidable death.
