Description: This scoping review systematic review aimed to synthesize and assess the available evidence regarding the responses and adaptations regular physical exercise on psychopathology, cognition, and quality of life in patients diagnosed with schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a psychiatric syndrome characterised by psychotic symptoms as hallucinations, delusions and disorganised language, by negative symptoms such as decreased motivation and decreased expressiveness, and by cognitive deficits, involving impairment of executive functions, memory and speed of mental processing.
