After collecting the data from the Qualtrics survey, we will analyze the collected data in RStudio. We will perform independent-samples t-tests to determine whether there is a significant difference in mean scores of the added conjuncts H2 (most confirmed) and H3 (most probable) for the athlete, surgeon, Swiss, and Canadian scenarios of the probability task and the confirmation task.
We will use a one-sample binomial test to determine whether the observed chance of selecting H2 or H3 significantly deviates from the standard 50% vs. 50% probability for the conjunction fallacy task.
We will use a two sample t-test to determine if there is a cultural difference between the means of the Swiss and Canadian scenarios in regards to the conjunction fallacy task.
