This project is based on data from the SAMMI study. It is collaboration primarily among Miranda Beltzer, Mawulolo Ameko, Bethany Teachman, and Laura Barnes for the UVA Presidential Fellowship in Data Science. The overarching goal of this project is to create a recommender system for emotion regulation strategies for people with elevated levels of trait social anxiety, taking into account differences in contextual effectiveness of strategies. To do this, we use contextual bandits.
