Description: This study provides a systematic and comprehensive comparison of the subjective experiences, including procedure-induced discomfort and potential side effects, associated with three types of tES: anodal tDCS, tACS and oscillatory tDCS. By evaluating these effects within the same group of participants, we sought to address the variability in subjective experiences across different tES techniques and overcome individual differences that often confound cross-study and between-groups comparisons
