The purpose of this research project is to investigate the presence of Spearman's g in non-Western, non-industrialized countries. The files in this Wiki are: - Analysis 03212018.sps: SPSS syntax file for all initial exploratory factor analyses (EFA). This file includes the correlation matrices for the datasets and the results for the number of factors in each dataset (using the modified Guttman and MAP procedures to select the number of factors in an EFA). - Cross-cultural g 03232018.pdf: PDF file for the current draft of the manuscript explaining the study and its findings. (Minor error fixed in the abstract.) - Cross-cultural g 03232018.pdf_v1: PDF file for the original draft of the manuscript explaining the study and its findings. - Cross-cultural g 08132018.pdf: PDF file for the revised version of the manuscript after peer review. - MAP analysis syntax.sps: SPSS syntax file that contains all MAP analyses to use Velicer's (1976) minimum average partial (MAP) procedure. - Pre-registration.pdf: Blinded pre-registration protocol from aspredicted.org. - Schmid-Leiman analysis.sps: SPSS syntax file for producing a Schmid-Leiman solutions for a second-order EFAs.
