**As a result of the pilot study, 6 verbs were discarded** MOTOR: tug (often used as a noun) stroll (often used as a noun) split (low embodiment rating) NON MOTOR: glare (high embodiment rating) glow (often used as a noun) bleed (high embodiment rating on average, and lot of variability between subjects) -------------------------------------------------- Now having **33 motor verbs and 33 non-motor** verbs to use in the EEG experiment (66 stimuli in total, see the list uploaded in this section) -------------------------------------------------- **Task 2 results** showed a significant difference in the subject ratings between the two groups of verbs: motor verbs have high ratings, meaning they have been judged as very bodily, while non-motor verbs have low ratings, meaning they have been judged as being not bodily. This rating difference is significant (p <.001; see the t-test uploaded in this section and the file with all scores from the two tasks as well).
