**Research Firsts Exhibition: Image and accompanying text by the Sound Thought Team** ![Montage of four photographs showing people exploring different settings while listening to sounds, around the University of Glasgow and surrounding area][1] Sound Thought is a collective of practice-researchers working across experimental sound and music. For COP26, we created a series of site-specific soundscape pieces which constitute The Dear Green Bothy Soundwalk. The Soundwalk draws upon research into acoustic ecology, sound walking, and deep listening practices to highlight human-made noise pollution by shifting listeners’ perceptions. We led a series of soundwalks at various times throughout the year, sharing personal stories and experiences of the locations and how we relate to and can address the climate crisis through creative practice.
