Wiki Version:
The Research Firsts exhibition was created through an open submission process which lasted approximately 4 weeks from April to May 2023. [The guidance notes can be seen here][1]. The resulting exhibtion of 42 entries was displayed in two shows, held between the 5 June and 3 July 2023. To incentivise submissions to the Research Firsts exhibition, a competitive element was included, with prizes for the top five entries as assessed by our judging panel. The judging panel had representatives from the University of Glasgow Advanced Research Centre's Engagement team (Hannah Campbell), the University's research community (Kevin O'Dell), the University's Hunterian Museum (Giovanna Vitelli), Glasgow charity Boom Community Arts (Barry Neeson) and the Glasgow School of Art (Kirsty Ross). ![Photograph of the winners of the Research Firsts competition][2] [1]: https://osf.io/rg8v5 [2]: https://mfr.osf.io/export?url=https://osf.io/download/5sa9j/?direct=&mode=render&format=2400x2400.jpeg
