Description: Concern over the replicability of psychological science has risen in recent years, particularly with regard to social psychology. A combination of events led to a general sense of crisis. The importance of replication has led to many researchers to embrace multi-site replications as a presumably rigorous method for verifying the validity of scientific findings. The project reviews the published results of these multi-laboratory replication attempts in social psychology, in the hope of understanding what factors influence successful and unsuccessful replications of original studies.
