### **File format information** Data and analysis files are stored in file formats compatible with the commercial statistics software SPSS. In addition, a .csv formatted copy of each dataset has been added. You can use the *free* statistics software JASP to open and inspect .sav data files, and convert .sav to non-proprietary formats like .csv. JASP download: [https://jasp-stats.org/][3] Unfortunately, the authors do not know of free software that can handle .sps files. The [PSPP][1] statistical software from GNU [may be an option][2], but the authors have no personal experience with this software. Experiment design files are stored in .es2 format, used by the E-STUDIO program of the proprietary software E-PRIME 2.0.
