Description: Searching for a work opportunity that aligns with one’s calling is one possible mechanism by which individuals find a way to live out their calling. The present study investigated the effects of calling and the moderating effects of self-esteem, optimism, and perseverance on job search intensity and clarity among a sample of unemployed job seekers (N = 315).
