Wiki Version:
1. We will replicate the memory bias effect reported in Gluth et al. (2015). 2. A person’s estimation of their memory performance of an item depends on the item’s subjective value to this person. The higher the subjective value of the item, the higher the estimated likelihood of having remembered it successfully. 3. There is a positive correlation across participants between the subjective belief on own memory performance (tested in Hypothesis 2) and the memory bias (tested in Hypothesis 1).
