**Background**
This dataset includes EEG and GSR recordings from participants in a VR classroom, where they listened to 30 mini-lessons from a virtual teacher. In some trials, they experienced auditory distractions (sound-events, e.g., coughs, ringtones) from nearby students.
The experiment includes comparisons between trials with (22) and without (8) sound-events, as well as participants with (25) and without (24) ADHD.
**Dataset Overview**
- Participants: 49 Adults with and without AD(H)D
- EEG System: BioSemi 64-channel EEG
- GSR: BioSemi ActiveTwo
- Conditions: Trials with and without sound-events, from two broad categories: Non-verbal human sounds (mainly coughs and throat clearings), and Artificial sounds (phone ringtones and digitally-generated ‘boing’ sounds).
- Data Format: .mat files (MATLAB)
