Wiki Version:
This workshop continues to showcase how learners can configure their shell environments to better meet the workflows developed over the course of their research activities. Examples of creating and using aliases to make it easier to use commands such as find, grep, and others that do not require one to be constantly searching documentation on how to use. Other topics include: How to create shell functions; How to make shell scripts interactive and allow input from learners; How to make their changes to the shell environment persistent from login to login. Time will be set in reserve for learners to ask specific questions about their own shell environments. [OU Libraries Event Page text](https://osf.io/stu8m/wiki/OU%20Libraries%20Event%20Page%20Text/)
