Description: This scoping review proposal aims to answer the following questions: 1. What is the body of published evidence regarding the effect of fiber in the diet on health outcomes in children? 2. From the identified outcomes in the scoping review, what are the outcomes that could be prioritized for a systematic review and meta-analysis? 3. From the identified outcomes in the scoping review, what are the gaps in the research and what are the outcomes that could be prioritized for further research recommendations in this area?
