Wiki Version:
The OxWell School Survey is a repeated cross-sectional study of school students in England, co-ordinated at the University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry. More information is available on the study website: oxwell.org. The study team welcomes researchers to come and collaborate with us. From Feb-March 2023 OxWell conducted a fourth wave of data collection to better understand current student mental health and well-being as well as their perception of mental health support. New questions included the cost of living crisis, shape and weight concerns and school responses to racism. Our continued focus on social, emotional and behavioural risks to adolescent wellbeing is described in our study protocol (BMJ-Open). Over 40,000 students participated in 2023.
