In a previous study (Experiment One), we discovered that electrophysiological measures associated with recognition memory (FN400 and LPC), working memory (CDA), and attentional selection (n2pc) were sensitive to memory set size during a modified hybrid search task. The goal of the current study is to replicate and extend the findings from Experiment One. In this version, we will manipulate memory set sizes (1, 2, 4, and 8) to include more memory set sizes within working memory (WM) capacity. This manipulation is meant to help clarify the role of WM within/above WM capacity.
