### README This OSF page contains all the ROI data and scripts required to reproduce the figures and results in the paper: Liu, S., Lydic, K., Mei, L., & Saxe, R. (2024). Violations of physical and psychological expectations in the human adult brain. *Imaging Neuroscience*. https://doi.org/10.1162/imag_a_00068 This page contains the following materials - Pre-registrations for both experiments - Materials associated with prior conference paper on this project - Example stimuli (if you don't want to download big zip files, and just want to see a sample) - All ROI parcels and README `roi_parcels.zip` - VOE stimuli from both experiments `exp1_voe_stimuli.zip`, `exp2_voe_stimuli.zip` - DOTSloc stimuli from both experiments (same across both) `dotsloc_stimuli.zip` - Input data for both experiments, required to reproduce analyses and figures from scratch `exp1_input_data.zip`, `exp2_input_data.zip` - Analysis and task scripts at https://github.com/shariliu/nes_fmri. See the detailed README file on this page for more information. ### De-faced brain images De-faced brain images from participants in Experiments 1 and 2 who consented to share them (N = 16/17 for Experiment 1; N = 29/32 for Experiment 2) are openly available at https://openneuro.org/datasets/ds004934. ### Pre-registration Registrations exist for both Experiments 1 and 2. Both contain updates, as mistakes were caught and unforseen events occurred. The most up to date registrations are: - For Exp 1: https://osf.io/jmb76. See also `OSF Storage/study1_repreg` - For Exp 2: https://osf.io/8ywah. See also `OSF Storage/study2_prereg` ### Materials associated with CogSci 2023 paper The folder `cogsci_2023/` contains the data and analysis scripts required to reproduce the figures and results associated with the following CogSci paper (available [here][1]): Liu, S., Lydic, K., Mei, L., & Saxe, R. (2023). Violations of physical and psychological expectations in the human adult brain. *Proceedings of the Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society*.
