Welcome to the **2021 DNA Metabarcoding for CUREs Virtual Workshop** organized & presented by educators from [James Madison University (JMU)][2], Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s [DNA Learning Center (DNALC)][3], [New York City College of Technology (City Tech)][4], and [Bowie State University (BSU)][5]. This workshop is supported by [NSF IUSE Grant #1821657][6]. Use the Wiki links in the left pane to find info and activities for each day. **General Workshop Info** (all times EST) **Workshop Schedule:** **Week #1:** Mon June 21, 1-3pm; Wed June 23, 1-4pm; Fri June 25, 1-4pm *6 week recess for participant sample collection, processing, & sequencing* **Week #2:** Tues Aug 3, 1-4pm; Thur Aug 5, 1-4pm **Location**: This year's workshop will be held 100% virtually **Workshop Computing requirements**: To fully participate in the workshop you will need an internet-ready computer, with Zoom video chat capabilities.
