Wiki Version:
This folder contains the behavioral data, the analysis scripts and the behavioral results of the study. Abbreviations used for the file names are given in parentheses. For the behavioral data, two data files were created: one in `.edat2` format and another in `.txt` format. As demographic data are saved in each of these data files, these data were merged into one file in which demographic data are not reported for the sake of anonimity. This file is called `mergeddata_wtd.txt` and is saved in the subfolder "datasets". Analyses were performed with 24 participants (`24part`). The analysis scripts were programmed with R within RStudio. These files are given in the folder "R scripts". For each block type, there were three files: - `sfs_eeg_combi_dattrim`: for the trimming procedures - `sfs_egg_combi_stat`: for the analyses from the standard null-hypothesis significance testing (NHST) framework - `sfs_egg_combi_bf`: for the analyses from the Bayesian approach - `sfs_eeg_combi_plots`: for the plots The folder `source` contains helper functions. <br> The data after merging and trimming are presented in the file called "datasets". Results are presented in the file "results". Each of these folders contains: - a subfolder called `24part` in which the data/analyses in which 24 participants were included are presented. Two dependent measures were used: - reaction times (`rt`) - error rates (`acc`) Analyses were performed separately: - for all trials (`all`) and for trials without partial feature repetition and negative priming (`wpfrnp`) - for no-catch trials (`no`) and catch trials (`catch`) - for quintiles (`quintile`) - for trials taking into account previous congruency (`n-1`) The analyses reported in the paper are those including all trials and no-catch trials. The other analyses were additionally performed in order to be similar to Rey-Mermet and Gade (2016, JEP:HPP). The following analyses were performed and saved in folder "results": - NHST analyses (`stat`) - Bayesian approach (`bf`) - NHST analyses including quintile as factors (`stat_quintile`) - descriptive results (`des`) - descriptive results, including the congruency of the previous trial (`des_n-1`) - descriptive results, including the quintiles (`quintile`) All data and results files are saved in text format.
