**Welcome to the Confidence Database!** The Confidence Database provides a place where data on subjective ratings of any kind can be found in one place using a common set of formatting. The database is shared under CC0 (“No Rights Reserved”) license. However, if you use any data from the database, please cite the paper describing the database: Rahnev et al. (2020). The Confidence Database. Nature Human Behaviour, 4(3):317-325. In addition, consider citing the individual papers from where the data came from, which can be find in the readme files. If you want to contribute to the database, check out the instructions below. We highly encourage the preregistration of future secondary analyses. Preregistration templates for such analyses are available at osf.io/x4gzt.
