1. System requirements Analyses were performed on Windows 10 using MATLAB 9.7 (vR2019b) scripts. Open-source FieldTrip (vR20210301) software for MATLAB was downloaded from https://www.fieldtriptoolbox.org/download. Open-source raincloud plotting scripts (v2) for MATLAB were downloaded from https://github.com/RainCloudPlots/RainCloudPlots/tree/master/tutorial_matlab. Open-source BrainNet Viewer (v1.7) for MATLAB was downloaded from https://www.nitrc.org/projects/bnv. 2. Installation guide Install MATLAB. This can take up to several hours. Add all open-source software to MATLAB path. Initialize fieldtrip using the function ft_defaults. 3. Demo Download preprocessed data and custom MATLAB scripts from https://osf.io/rx2zd. Update path directory at the top of each analysis script. Run the batch script. This will output all subject-level iEEG measures and group-level linear mixed-effects model results. This takes a few to several hours on a normal desktop computer. 4. Instructions for use See #3 Demo. The data provided are real and will reproduce reported results.
