Wiki Version:
**Survey details** Our dataset included the following scales: [Cohen's Social Network Index][1], 13 items from [Tangney et al.'s Self Control Scale][2], [Cohen's Perceived Stress Scale][3], Fraley et al.'s [Experience in Close Relationship Questionnaire][4], Kooiman et al.'s [scale on alexithymia][5], Harris et al.'s scale on [attachment to homes][6], and the [Southampton Nostalgia Scale][7], participants daily sugary drink consumption (cf. [Henriksen et al., 2014][8]). We also asked for participants' sex, weight, and height. Finally, we looked up the minimum temperature and average humidity of the day participants completed the survey based on ip address by using a [weather history site][9], which bases weather on the nearest airport. **Data and Analyses** Through our pilot we found that Complex Social Integration (CSI) is one of the most important predictors of Core Body Temperature (CBT). The (anonymized) data that we collected for this study is available [here][10], the script that we used to analyze the data is available [here][11], and the two dotplots [here][12] and [here][13]. The partial dependency plot (the plot plotting CSI and CBT, controlling for all other variables in the forest) is available [here][14]. The datafile to calculate the Spearman rank r is available [here][15], and the results [here][16].
