Wiki Version:
This project was initiated at the first annual meeting for the Society for the improvement of Psychological Science (SIPS) in 2016. It is intended as a means to make it easier for a lab head to manage a large number of projects through Google documents. The project consists of a Google sheet document with a Google Script backend that improves the interaction between Forms and Sheets in the following way: 1. On each form submit, the entire Sheet is recreated using all of the Forms responses, ordered according to the project number (rather than time stamp which is Google's default behavior). 2. The last column of the sheet is populated with a URL that allows the Form to be edited at any time, which is essential for updating records 3. The edit URL is also emailed to a designated address. To begin, download the Documentation Word file and walkthrough the set-up of the script. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact the script editor at mrhess25@gmail.com
