Description: Pre-slaughter electrical stunning has been recognized as a suitable method to reduce fish stress during slaughter, yet its adoption remains limited in Mediterranean aquaculture, particularly for gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata) and European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) production.
