Wiki Version:
The deadline to apply to contribute to this RRR has now passed. We are no longer accepting applications to participate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------- **The information below has been preserved for documentation purposes.** ---------- The deadline to submit an application to join this project is November 30, 2016. Note that we will stop accepting applications before that deadline if we have received 30 applications to contribute. If you would like to join this project and contribute your own independent replication based on the approved protocol, please complete the Contributing Lab Application Form to and submit it to APS. The Guide below explains step-by-step how to submit your application. Before you submit the form, please review the materials and procedures to make sure that you will be able to meet the requirements for the study. Note that this protocol requires that you conduct your testing in a classroom setting with a minimum of 50 people present in each testing session (and ideally more than 100 in each session). The study also requires a minimum sample of 200 participants in total (after exclusions). And, you must test in a language in which participants can complete a sentence-descrambling task (i.e., choosing 3 out of 4 possible words to make sentences). All data collection will need to be completed by November 30, 2017. You will be responsible for obtaining any required IRB or ethics approval at your university in a way that will allow you to make your de-identified data publicly available. This RRR project will result in two separate RRR papers that will appear in the new APS journal AMPPS. Editing in the interim will take place via the journal review process at Perspectives on Psychological Science. **Links** - [Contributing Lab Application Form][1] - [Step-by-step instructions for submitting your application][2] [1]: https://osf.io/ftjd6/ [2]: https://osf.io/kqf86/
