Description: This index compares a theoretical predicted effect size to the empirically observed effect size. The Similarity Index is valuable because nothing but the similarity between a point-specific theoretical effect size and a point-specific empirical effect size can inform researchers with sufficient precision about the adequacy of a theoretical construct.
