Wiki Version:
This repository contains all data, code, analyses, and supplemental materials (SM) for the following manuscript: Hopp, F. R., Fisher, J. T., & Weber, R. (in press). A graph-learning approach for detecting moral conflicts in movie scripts. _Media & Communication_, 8(3). The publication is part of a Journal Special Issue entitled: **Computational Approaches to Media Entertainment Research**. The `supplemental materials` file contains additional information not reported in the manuscript. The `jupyter notebook` documents all our steps for the large-scale validation analysis. The `emfd` is the extended Moral Foundations Dictionary (Hopp et al., 2018; Weber et al., 2018) used to extract moral information from movie scripts.
